Cancellation and Return Terms

Note: This text is a general draft based on Turkish Law No. 6502 on the Protection of Consumers and the Regulation on Distance Contracts. We strongly recommend confirming with a legal advisor which of your products qualify for the “custom-made” exception; to apply this exception, the relevant product page must clearly state that the product is custom-made to the buyer’s specifications.

1. Right of Withdrawal Period

A Buyer shopping as a consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 (fourteen) days from delivery of the purchased product to themselves or to a third party at the address they indicated, without giving any reason and without paying any penalty.

2. How to Exercise the Right of Withdrawal

To exercise your right of withdrawal, it is enough to notify us in writing within the period, either by email to [info@hobilanka.com] or via our WhatsApp line. After we receive your request, you must send the product back to us complete and unused, together with its original packaging, invoice, and any gifts/accessories included.

3. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

Under Article 15 of the Regulation on Distance Contracts, the right of withdrawal cannot be used in the following cases:

  • Custom-made products: amigurumi/knitted products prepared at the buyer’s special request (color, size, name/number embroidery, model changes, etc.) or otherwise manufactured specifically for a person or need,
  • Products that are not suitable for return by their nature, that may spoil quickly, or whose expiry date may pass,
  • Products whose packaging, seal, or security element has been opened/used (e.g. hygienic products).

If a product page clearly states that a product is custom-made / made to request, the right of withdrawal may not apply to that product. If you are unsure whether a product falls under this exception, you can ask us at [info@hobilanka.com] before ordering.

4. Return Process

  1. Send us your withdrawal request within the period.
  2. Return the product in its original condition using the courier company we will notify you of (unless stated otherwise, shipping cost is borne by the Buyer).
  3. Once the product reaches us and is inspected, your payment will be refunded to the payment method you used within 14 days at the latest.

5. Receiving Defective/Damaged Products

If you notice damage to the shipping package upon delivery, please ask the courier to prepare a report before you accept the package. If you believe you received a defective/faulty product, please contact us as soon as possible at [info@hobilanka.com]; in this case all costs, including shipping, will be covered by us.

6. Order Cancellation

If your order has not yet been shipped, you can cancel it free of charge by contacting us at [info@hobilanka.com] or via WhatsApp. For orders where custom production has already started, cancellation may be partially charged depending on the stage of production; this will be communicated to you separately when the order is confirmed.
