3. Purposes of Processing Personal Data

  • Carrying out order processes (product preparation, shipping, delivery tracking),
  • Establishing and performing contractual processes (distance sales agreement),
  • Issuing invoices and fulfilling accounting and legal record-keeping obligations,
  • Managing customer requests and complaints,
  • Ensuring Site and system security,
  • Carrying out promotional and marketing communications where you have given explicit consent.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

Your personal data is processed on the legal grounds under KVKK Article 5/2 that processing is “directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract,” is “mandatory for the data controller to fulfil its legal obligation,” and is based on “the data controller’s legitimate interest, provided this does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms”; for marketing communications, processing is based on your explicit consent (Article 5/1).

5. Transfer of Personal Data

Limited to the purposes described above, your personal data may be shared with courier/logistics companies, payment institutions, third parties providing us accounting services, the hosting provider [Hostinger] where our Site is hosted, and authorized public authorities, in accordance with the conditions set out in Articles 8 and 9 of KVKK.

6. Method of Collecting Personal Data

Your personal data is collected electronically when you fill out a membership/order form on the Site, when you contact us via WhatsApp or email, and automatically (through cookies) when you visit the Site.

7. Your Rights under Article 11 of KVKK

By applying to us, you have the right to:

  • Learn whether your personal data is being processed,
  • Request information if it has been processed,
  • Learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with that purpose,
  • Know the third parties to whom it is transferred domestically or abroad,
  • Request correction if it has been processed incompletely or incorrectly,
  • Request deletion/destruction within the framework of KVKK Article 7,
  • Request that the above operations be notified to third parties to whom the data has been transferred,
  • Object to a result that is against you arising from analysis exclusively through automated systems,
  • Request compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing.

8. How to Apply

You can submit your requests regarding the rights listed above, together with documents verifying your identity, by email to [info@hobilanka.com] or in writing to [FULL BUSINESS ADDRESS]. Your requests will be concluded free of charge, as soon as possible and within thirty days at the latest, depending on their nature.
